U13-U19

The U13–U19 age groups represent the core of our senior programs, competing in the full-field 11v11 format as they continue their development at the highest levels. These age groups are tested in some of the most competitive leagues in the country, providing an elite environment for growth and performance. Our top-tier teams compete in the ECNL National League, widely regarded as the premier youth soccer league in the United States. The second-tier teams participate in the ECNL Regional League, offering a high level of competition and exposure. Our third and fourth-tier teams compete in the well-respected NCYSA State League, ensuring all players receive quality development and meaningful competition.

Hammerhead players consistently excel when they transition into high school soccer, earning numerous All-Conference selections, Conference Player of the Year awards, and prestigious All-American honors. These accomplishments reflect not only their talent, but also the strong foundation built within our club. The ultimate goal for many of our athletes is to play at the collegiate level, and college coaches across the country recognize the Hammerheads name and our reputation for producing hardworking, honest, coachable players who are great teammates on and off the field. Supporting this process, we have a full-time College Placement Director dedicated to guiding our oldest players through every step of their college journey. To further enhance exposure, we recently launched our own ID Camp each April, bringing over 50 college coaches to Wilmington for a full day of training and evaluation with our players. This commitment to development and opportunity has helped more than 100 Hammerhead boys and girls continue their soccer careers at the college level this fall.
