Beach Hammerheads
Building for the Future
As we approach tryouts, we’re excited about the continued growth of Beach Hammerheads and the progress made over the past 12 months.
With our partnership now firmly in place, we have focused on building structure, raising standards, and creating a better overall experience for our players and families. From training environments to player pathways, every decision is centered around long-term development and doing things the right way.
This next phase is an important one.
We are continuing to strengthen all areas of the club — including coaching, programming, and competition platforms— with more announcements to come in the coming weeks.
Our goal is simple:
To provide a clear pathway, strong culture, and a professional environment where players can grow, compete, and enjoy the game.
It’s an exciting time to be part of Beach Hammerheads — whether you are returning or looking to join for the first time.
We look forward to seeing you at tryouts.
New Partnership, New Opportunities
Beach United Hammerheads
In the spring of 2025, Hammerheads Soccer Club proudly announced a new and exciting partnership with Beach United in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This collaboration represents the club’s continued growth and commitment to expanding high-quality soccer development throughout the region. Built on a shared vision of player development, community engagement, and competitive excellence, the partnership creates a unified pathway for athletes from the Grand Strand to eastern North Carolina.
Though still in its early stages, the Beach United partnership follows a similar model to the successful merger between Wilmington Hammerheads and Jacksonville Area Soccer Association (JASA), which took place in 2024. By aligning coaching philosophies, combining resources, and offering consistent programming across locations, this new partnership ensures that players in Myrtle Beach benefit from the same high standards and development opportunities offered throughout the Hammerheads Soccer Club system. From recreational programs to elite-level competition, players receive a clear and structured path for growth.
At the highest levels of competition—particularly in the U13–U19 age groups—top players from Myrtle Beach and Wilmington will come together to form unified teams that compete against some of the best talent in the country. These combined teams offer a deeper player pool, enhanced training environments, and access to nationally recognized leagues such as the ECNL and ECNL Regional League, giving athletes the best possible platform to develop and pursue collegiate or professional opportunities.
The addition of Beach United strengthens Hammerheads Soccer Club’s presence across the Carolinas and reflects a shared commitment to creating a more connected, competitive, and player-focused soccer community. Together, Hammerheads and Beach United are laying the foundation for long-term success—both on and off the field.
