The Hammerheads Soccer Club offers a full development pathway, combining high-quality coaching with a positive environment to help players grow, compete, and love the game for life.
Our Mission
Building Players, Inspiring Passion
Hammerheads Soccer Club is one of the top youth soccer clubs in North Carolina and now South Carolina, offering programs for players of all ages and skill levels. With a strong commitment to development, competition, and community, Hammerheads Soccer Club provides a professional and supportive environment for athletes to grow on and off the field.
After gaining entrance into the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) in 2016 and creating a strong partnership with our local YMCA Recreational Soccer program, HHSC has established professional operations that include 15 full-time staff members and the development and management of NCino Sports Park. The state-of-the-art facility features 11 soccer fields—5 with lights, 1 with artificial turf, and 10 high-quality natural grass fields—serving as the central hub for training, games, and major events. These advancements reflect the club’s dedication to providing high-quality training, facilities, and support for players and families across the region.
Expanding Our Reach
HHSC continues to expand its reach and impact through strategic partnerships that enhance the local soccer experience and create clear pathways for players to pursue the highest levels of youth soccer. In 2024, the club established a partnership in Jacksonville (JASA), North Carolina, followed by a 2025 expansion into Myrtle Beach (Beach United), South Carolina. Over 100 Hammerheads graduates will play NCAA college soccer this fall. These initiatives strengthen regional development, increase competitive opportunities, and reinforce the club’s commitment to helping every player reach their full potential—whether they play for fun, for development, or with aspirations of playing at the next level.
Today, HHSC works in three Coastal Carolina communities and continues to improve grassroots programming, curriculum, coaching, and the overall player experience in each community that we serve. The club continues to focus time and attention on creating a clear internal pathway that unites the very top players from all three communities in the older ECNL age groups, fostering elite development and high-level competition.

nCino Sports Park is Wilmington’s premier soccer facility, offering state-of-the-art fields and a top-tier environment for training, games, and tournaments. Designed to support players of all levels, the park serves as a hub for youth development and competitive play in the region. With its modern amenities and convenient location, nCino Sports Park is helping shape the future of soccer in southeastern North Carolina.
