HHSC Honors
At HHSC, we are committed to continuous improvement in the ever-changing and imperfect world of youth sports. We recognize that growth doesn’t come from perfection but from learning, adapting, and striving to do better each day. Our goal is to provide players, families, and coaches with an environment where development, sportsmanship, and passion for the game are always at the forefront. By embracing challenges and seeking constant progress, we aim to create a positive experience that benefits every player both on and off the field.

Our club is built on a foundation of excellence, driven by a staff of experienced soccer professionals. Among our coaching team are NCAA All-Americans and National Champions, former professional players, Youth National Team coaches, MLS Academy staff, and accomplished educators—from teachers to college professors. We take pride in a culture of collaboration, where knowledge is shared across all levels to elevate our players and the game.
Education
We believe great coaches never stop learning. Our staff is committed to ongoing development through internal programs that challenge our team to think critically, collaborate, and grow. Led by some of the highest-licensed coaches in the country—including U.S. Soccer 'A' and 'B' Licensed professionals—our culture prioritizes both individual growth and collective excellence. Proudly, the club invests in our coaches by financially supporting their continued education and advancement.
Awards
Since 2014, our club has grown from a local league team into a nationally respected organization. With strong community ties through our YMCA Recreational League partnership, we proudly support 5,000–6,000 players each year wearing the Hammerheads badge. In 2017, we reached a major milestone with our acceptance into the prestigious Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). Today, we are proud members of North Carolina Youth Soccer (NCYSA), the ECNL, and the Carolina Development League (CDL)—a reflection of our continued commitment to excellence, opportunity, and player development at every level.
